Biography:

Blake Mozer has been part of the Broncos’ development system since he was 13 and progressed through the pathways before joining the NRL squad in 2022 after he graduated from Keebra Park State High School.

He captained the Queensland Under 19s side in 2023 and went on to make his NRL debut against the Melbourne Storm the same year following standout performances for Broncos affiliate, Souths Logan Magpies.

In 2024, Mozer’s NRL opportunities grew as he made eight appearances, contributing one try, one try assist, a line break assist, and 179 tackles at an impressive 93 per cent efficiency.

A shoulder injury sidelined him early in 2025, but he returned to play 12 Queensland Cup games before a broken jaw ended his season prematurely.

Despite the setbacks, the Broncos showed their faith in the promising hooker by extending his contract for two more seasons through to the end of 2027 — a commitment Mozer embraced, saying he “can’t imagine being anywhere else.”
