Biography:

Alongside twin brother Toby, Couchman graduated through the Dragons pathways system earning an under-18s Country Origin nod in 2021.

He made his NSW Cup debut off the bench in early-2023 cementing himself as a reliable starter in the back row as the season progressed.

A Thirroul Butchers junior, Couchman made his NRL debut in Round 23, 2023 season against the Eels at CommBank Stadium having been listed as the replacement player on several previous occasions.

He and his twin brother shared the NRL field for the first time against the Rabbitohs in Round 24 and, alongside Mathew and Max Feagai, became the first two sets of twins to ever appear in the same first grade game.

Alongside his brother, he extended his contract at the club last year until at least the end of the 2025 season.
