Originally from Bathurst, the son of former Balmain Tiger, Bubba, Kennedy debuted for the club in 2019 after enjoying success in Cronulla’s lower grades. The skillful, ball-playing fullback, made the Shark’s number one jersey his own in 2020 and was recognised as the club’s best player in 2021, receiving the Porter-Gallen medal. The proud Gamilaroi man also represented his Indigenous culture in the 2022 All-Stars clash. Now, an integral part of the Shark’s backline, Kennedy will look to continue his consistent and impressive attacking form throughout the 2023 season.
