Warriors forward Isaiah Papali'i can avoid suspension despite being hit with a dangerous contact charge from Sunday's golden point loss to Manly.

Papali'i was charged with making dangerous contact to the head or neck of Sea Eagles forward Darcy Lussick in the 68th minute of Sunday's game at Mt Smart Stadium.

He risks a one-match ban if he unsuccessfully fights the charge at the judiciary but can escape with 75 carryover points if he enters a guilty plea.

There were no other charges from Sunday's games.
