The official team lists for the 11th round of the 2018 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

Penrith Panthers v Wests Tigers, Thursday 7.50pm at Panthers Stadium

The Panthers will start 1-17 after Jarome Luai and Kaide Ellis were dropped from the squad an hour before kick-off. Nathan Cleary's long-awaited return in the halves pushes Tyrone Peachey to centre, Isaah Yeo to back row and Viliame Kikau to the bench. Hooker Peter Wallace is out injured with Sione Katoa to start. Wayde Egan and Jack Hetherington (suspension) rejoin the bench with Kaide Ellis and Jarome Luai dropping out. Tyrone May and Nick Lui-Toso were dropped from the squad 24 hours out from kick-off.

Kevin Naiqama was a late withdrawal from the Wests Tigers side. Michael Chee-Kam has been named to take his place in the centres. Naiqama joins Tim Grant as the two players left out of the squad an hour from kick-off. Centre Mahe Fonua has been dropped despite a man-of-the-match effort last week to accommodate Kevin Naiqama's return. Josh Aloiai and Tyson Gamble were omitted from the squad 24 hours out from kick-off.

Parramatta Eels v New Zealand Warriors, Friday 6pm at ANZ Stadium

The Eels are 1-17 and aiming for just their third win in 11 games. Kenny Edwards was stood down this week pending a court appearance for a traffic violation. Cameron King replaces Will Smith at hooker. Manu Ma'u swaps to lock with Beau Scott who moves to second row. Marata Niukore has been named to make his debut in jersey 17. Josh Hoffman and Siosaia Vave were cut an hour before kick-off, while Jaeman Salmon and Raymond Stone were omitted from the squad on Thursday night.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is out, with Peta Hiku shifted to fullback and Gerard Beale elevated from the reserves to a starting centre role. Issac Luke (shoulder) returns at hooker with Karl Lawton dropped from the reserves an hour before kick-off. Mason Lino has been named at halfback despite injuring an ankle last week. Albert Vete and Anthony Gelling were omitted 24 hours out from game time.

Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett has made one change, with Kontoni Staggs to make his NRL debut off the interchange bench. Jack Bird (sternum), Alex Glenn (knee) and Payne Haas (shoulder) are sidelined, with Tom Opacic starting at centre, Tevita Pangai jnr shifting to the second row and Joe Ofahengaue starting at lock. Gehamat Shibasaki and George Fai were trimmed from the squad an hour before kick-off, while Todd Murphy and David Fifita were cut on Thursday night.

Bryce Cartwright has earned a reprieve with promotion from the reserves to the bench, with Max King the new starting prop and Ryan James shifting to the back row to cover the loss of Kevin Proctor. Konrad Hurrell and Morgan Boyle were cut from the reserves an hour before kick-off and Kane Elgey was omitted from the squad on Friday.

Newcastle coach Nathan Brown made a couple of changes on Friday, dropping Chris Heighington from the bench and cutting Jack Cogger from the reserves. He continued to tinker on Saturday, promoting Jacob Lillyman to the bench and cutting Jamie Buhrer and Cory Dennis an hour before kick-off.

Stuart cut Sam Williams and Craig Garvey from his squad 24 hours before kick-off. Liam Knight and Michael Oldfield were omitted from the game-day side.
