Greg Inglis reminds Steve Renouf of Immortal Arthur Beetson and he believes the Rabbitohs skipper will "grow an extra leg" in his role as captain of the Maroons.

In his weekly NRL Podcast, Renouf outlines why Inglis has always felt at home in the Queensland jersey.

Renouf reflects on Inglis's teenage years win Brisbane living with one of his early mentors Adrian Coolwell as pivotal in creating the sense of belonging that the 31-year-old spoke about in his first press conference as Queensland skipper.

Renouf knew the late, great Beetson well and details why Inglis reminds him so much of the Immortal with his presence and aura off the field as much as on it.

Renouf also outlines the three-pronged dilemma the Broncos have in locking in a coach for 2020 with Craig Bellamy set to make a decision on his future.

What will Wayne Bennett do in 2019 if Bellamy decides to link with Brisbane? Renouf does not discount Wigan as an option as he discusses where Maroons coach Kevin Walters also fits into the picture.

Renouf also analyses why Maroons half Ben Hunt can step up and run the team, gives NSW coach Brad Fittler a big rap for a plethora of brave selections in his Blues side and explains why Queenslanders "have a lot to thank Craig Bellamy for" in the wake of Billy Slater's announcement that he will retire from representative football at the end of this Origin series.

Renouf also reveals what Titans coach Garth Brennan said to him about the one key thing his Gold Coast side needs to learn.

In another surprise, Renouf also sheds light on why he will be putting the boots on again and running out in the centres with Chris Walker in a star-studded legends match.
