Roosters veteran Brett Morris is the only player to have polled three votes in each of the first two rounds and is one vote clear of Eels hooker Reed Mahoney, with Parramatta prop Junior Paulo, Raiders forward Hudson Young, Storm star Ryan Papenhuyzen and Rabbitohs fullback Latrell Mitchell tied for equal third.
Despite persistent rain limiting attacking play, several teams flexed their muscles in the wet to put on plenty of points with the Roosters, Titans, Panthers and Dragons getting across the stripe plenty of times in their wins.
