Late Mail: NRLW Round 2

Knights v Broncos, Sunday, 12:00pm AEDT at WIN Stadium

Knights: Local props Caitlan Johnston (elbow) and Phoebe Desmond (COVID-19) are out, replaced by Kiwi internationals Maitua Feterika and Ngatokotoru Arakua. Indigenous All Star Kyra Simon will be 18th player.

Broncos: Kaitlyn Phillips will start at lock with Sara Sautia shifting to the bench. A big moment for 21-year-old winger Hagiga Mosby, the niece of former Cowboy Gideon Gela-Mosby, who will make her debut on the wing in place of the injured Julia Robinson (cheekbone). Broncos veteran Lavinia Gould is included on the bench with Wright set to hand Australian touch footballer Hayley Maddick a long-awaited NRLW debut.

Roosters v Titans, Sunday, 1:50pm AEDT at WIN Stadium

Roosters: Rookie winger Claire Reed was named on Tuesday but won't play, causing a reshuffle with Yasmin Meakes shifting to the wing and Sarah Togatuki to the back row. Maori All Stars prop Mya Hill-Moana comes into the side for her NRLW debut.

A new-look halves pairing with Raecene McGregor promoted from the bench to take over at halfback. Jocelyn Kelleher switches to five-eighth and last week's No.7 Zahara Temara goes to the bench. Skipper Corban Baxter remains part of the reserves after she was a late withdrawal in round one due to a positive COVID-19 test and could be a late inclusion.

Titans: Maroons representative Brianna Clark comes out of the side with April Ngatupuna called in for her maiden NRLW game off the bench. Steph Hancock will start in the front-row while Titans coach Jamie Feeney has called in Indigenous All Stars centre Jasmine Peters in a minor backline reshuffle. With Peters in the centres, Lauren Dam shifts out to the wing in place of Jetaya Faifua.
