All eyes will be on team list updates ahead of Sunday's Telstra Premiership Elimination Final between the Roosters and Rabbitohs, with both sides naming star players who are under injury clouds this week.

Already without prolific centre Joey Manu, who is set to miss at least the next fortnight with a calf problem, the Roosters have welcomed back a host of key players for the must-win match.

Joseph Suaalii (shoulder), Victor Radley (head knock) and Daniel Tupou (groin) are set to return after missing round 25, while the Tricolours have also named Jared Waerea-Hargreaves and Sam Verrills after they failed to finish last Friday's match due to neck and knuckle issues respectively.

Manu has left the field with a calf injury

As expected South Sydney captain Cam Murray has been named to start after failing a HIA in round 25, following a head knock inside the opening two minutes of his side's 26-16 loss, but he will still have to pass the NRL's concussion protocols this week in order to play.

Representative hooker Damien Cook is good to go after two weeks out with COVID-19, while centre Campbell Graham is back from a head knock.

The Panthers are at full strength for the first time since round 20, welcoming skipper Nathan Cleary back from suspension after they rested almost all of their first-choice NRL players in round 25.

Croker sin bin for hip drop on Talakai

They'll play a Sharks side who will be sweating on the fitness of powerhouse centre Siosifa Talakai, after he aggravated a prior syndesmosis injury in the dying minutes of last week's win over the Knights.

Speaking after the match last Sunday, coach Craig Fitzgibbon said the initial signs suggested that Talakai's past surgery on the ankle had strengthened it and helped him avoid a more serious outcome.

After resting Jack Wighton and Elliott Whitehead last week, the Raiders have their squad who went undefeated through the last month of the regular season back on deck.

The Storm meanwhile have named Kiwi internationals Jahrome Hughes and Kenny Bromwich, who together bring 29 games worth of finals experience to the field, after Hughes sat out round 25 with calf tightness and Bromwich failed a HIA 10 minutes into the second half last week.

Hughes is expected to play, while Bromwich will have to get through concussion protocols to be declared fit.

The Eels have named the same 17 who took the field for them in last week's win over the Storm, while the Cowboys have just one change to their 17, welcoming back forward Coen Hess at the expense of Jamayne Taunoa-Brown.
