A stack of crucial Fantasy players will miss Round 15 as the injury bug starts to really bite in season 2023.

There is some good news though too, with a handful of guns named to return to action this week and give owners a much-needed extra green dot.

NRL Fantasy teams analysis: Round 15

Titans v Wests Tigers, Thursday at Cbus Super Stadium

Titans: The absence of David Fifita due to possible delayed concussion symptoms is huge, with the powerhouse EDG owned by over 11 percent of teams. It means Klese Haas ($247k) starts in the second row again after playing 80 minutes there last week and scoring a season-high 31. AJ Brimson returns from injury to start at fullback and with Kieran Foran still missing Jayden Campbell keeps the five-eighth job.

Wests Tigers: EDG John Bateman was brilliant last week on his way to a season-high score of 85. He could be good value at $730k if he can hit consistent 60s going forward. In-form CTR Starford To'a has a last three round average of 61.7. A 61 for Jahream Bula last week means the WFB enters Round 15 with a break even of 5, having already gone up $289k in value so far.

Raiders v Warriors, Friday at GIO Stadium

Raiders: A reshuffle in the pack, triggered by the return of Elliott Whitehead in the second row, sees Joseph Tapine ($719k) return to prop. After a nice run on the edge in the past fortnight, Corey Horsburgh is back at lock, while Pasami Saulo, who is making some money now after consecutive scores of 49 and 31, moves back to the bench.

Warriors: After his round-high 95 last week, Shaun Johnson will be a popular trade in as owners seek a replacement for Nathan Cleary. With Rocco Berry ruled out, rookie Ali Leiataua is named at centre but is probably a stay away given how many options the Warriors have there once everyone is fit. There are plenty of good Fantasy players to consider in the pack, with Addin Fonua-Blake, Wayde Egan, Marata Niukore, Jackson Ford and Tohu Harris all hitting 50s in Round 14.

Sea Eagles v Dolphins, Friday at 4 Pines Park

Sea Eagles: Tom Trbojevic ($547k) has been cleared to return and will take his place at fullback. After a nice 47-point effort in Round 13, Samuela Fainu is named to start in the second row again and should make some decent cash this week given his break even is -4.

Dolphins: Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow returns at fullback in a boost for those light on WFB options. Kodi Nikorima keeps a spot in the starting 13 though, named at five-eighth in place of the suspended Anthony Milford. Jeremy Marshall-King (HOK, $700k) is set to return from a week out with a shoulder injury, while Ray Stone keeps his starting spot at lock and could be a long-term option there following news Tom Gilbert will miss the rest of the season. Brenko Lee is named but is in some doubt after picking up a calf injury in Round 14, with Valynce Te Whare (who had 24 last week) likely to be promoted from the bench to start if he isn't declared fit.

Dragons v Rabbitohs, Saturday at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium

Dragons: Jack Bird is set to be rested for the third time in four weeks after being listed in the reserves. With the Dragons having a bye next week he remains a sell if you haven't dumped him already. The loss of Jack de Belin (concussion) is huge for the 15 percent of teams who have him, but it brings potential joy for the few who still own Ben Murdoch-Masila, with the $349k MID/EDG named at lock and set to continue his (painfully slow) price climb.

Rabbitohs: Bad news for owners of Latrell Mitchell, with the star fullback again left out as he works through a calf injury. It means Blake Taaffe gets another run in the No.1 jersey after scoring 41 last week. Highly-owned MID Cameron Murray is out with a groin strain, and while he could be back in action sooner rather than later, he's probably a sell given the other MID options out there. CTR Campbell Graham, who averages 45.4 points per game this year, is named to return from a sternum injury.

Broncos v Knights, Saturday at Suncorp Stadium

Broncos: Selwyn Cobbo (CTR, WFB $563k) has been named to return after sitting out last week due to a hip injury suffered in Origin I. Herbie Farnworth is in brilliant form and is one of the best CTR options around right now. The Englishman is available at $615k this week.

Knights: Kalyn Ponga ($444k) keeps the job at fullback and his price is set to jump over the next few weeks now, so if you want him this is the time to make the trade. There could be some value in five-eighth Tyson Gamble too, with the $341k HLF averaging 38 in games he has played 80 minutes in this year. Almost everyone has jumped off Lachlan Miller now anyway, but after being an unused interchange player in Round 13 he's now out of the squad altogether.

Roosters v Panthers, Saturday at Allianz Stadium

Roosters: Jake Turpin retains the hooker role and should keep getting big minutes for the foreseeable future. For those looking for a HOK, he's a good option at $371k, on the back of a 54 earned almost entirely off tackles last week. Billy Smith has fallen away big time from his opening two games but is a hold. A 22 last week has given Joey Manu a break even of 67, and unless he has a big game he could end up being available at <$600k next week.

Panthers: $375k HLF Jack Cogger gets first shot at the No.7 jersey made vacant by Nathan Cleary's hamstring injury. Last week in a 64-minute stint he scored 32 and he enters Round 15 with a break even of 24. Dylan Edwards is the second best WFB playing this week, with a season average of 54.3. Zac Hosking's 31 last week has left him with a break even of 63 and for some he will be a sell now, especially with Cleary now out.

Storm v Sharks, Sunday at AAMI Park

Storm: Harry Grant had second lowest score of the year (39) last week but remains easily the most owned HOK in the game. Christian Welch played only 43 minutes last week but still managed a 48. With Justin Olam not named after failing a HIA last week, Grant Anderson starts in the centres.

Sharks: Cameron McInnes (MID, $682k) returns to the bench after three weeks out injured, which bumps Thomas Hazelton out of the squad. WFB Will Kennedy has averaged 61.5 in his past two games, with a try in both. Already owned by 30 percent of all teams, Nicho Hynes could become the game's most owned player this week given he shapes as the logical Nathan Cleary replacement for many.

Bulldogs v Eels, Monday at Accor Stadium

Bulldogs: Jacob Kiraz ($469k) returns on the wing, and while he looks a good pick up for the back end of the season, with a break even of 45 you can probably afford to wait a week. Reed Mahoney has been named after failing a HIA last week, but will only be able to return to train and play against the Eels on Monday if declared fully fit following a review by an independent neurological expert appointed by the NRL. Jayden Okunbor, who is listed as a WFB in Fantasy, once again starts in the second row and is available at $407k.

Eels: Reagan Campbell-Gillard is set to return well ahead of schedule from a groin injury and has been named at prop, while Andrew Davey ($451k) returns from time out with concussion to start in the second row. The second coming of J'maine Hopgood on the Fantasy front continues, with the only worry for owners now being that he will be selected as a Queensland injury replacement for Origin II.

Dylan Brown has been named at five-eighth subject to determination of the No-Fault Stand Down Condition.
