- Biography:
Just a few years ago, Aublix Tawha admits his life was “heading in a different direction” before a move to Australia set his rugby league career on an upward trajectory.
In 2023, Tawha was lining up for the Yass Magpies when Broncos Assistant Coach Ben Te’o spotted his potential and brought him north to Queensland.
His strong form with the Dolphins in the Queensland Cup quickly followed, culminating in his NRL debut for the Redcliffe-based club in 2025.
From there, he became a reliable contributor for the remainder of the season, shifting seamlessly from the outside backs into the middle rotation, where he featured as a starting prop or impact forward off the bench.
Across nine NRL appearances, Tawha averaged close to 80 run metres per game and produced almost 30 tackles at a 93 per cent efficiency rate.
