Born in Wee Waa in northern NSW, Trindall learnt his rugby league in Caboolture, Queensland, before landing at the Sharks as an 18-year-old. A player with confidence and ability, he debuted in the NRL in 2020 after playing his first senior football with the Newtown Jets in 2019. A competent goal kicker, clever running half and stout defender, he finished the 2023 season as a starting playmaker.
