- Biography:
Azalleyah Maaka joined the Brisbane Broncos in 2025 after a successful rugby union career in New Zealand.
The Bay of Plenty product rose through the representative ranks and won a gold medal with New Zealand’s rugby sevens team at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games before playing for Chiefs Manawa in the Super Rugby Aupiki competition from 2023 to 2025.
Maaka made her NRLW debut for the Broncos on home soil in Round 10 of the 2025 season and continues to develop her game in rugby league.
With her athleticism, versatility and elite sporting background, the 24-year-old remains an exciting prospect for the Club.
