One of the most decorated players in women’s rugby league, Tamika Upton returned to the Brisbane Broncos in 2025 having established herself as one of the NRLW’s premier fullbacks.
Born and raised in Central Queensland, Upton made her NRLW debut with the Broncos in 2019 and played a key role in the Club’s early success, helping Brisbane claim multiple premierships.
Renowned for her speed, evasiveness and elite football instincts, Upton has built an impressive representative résumé, earning honours with Queensland and Australia while collecting some of the game’s highest individual accolades.
After a successful 2025 season as Broncos’ co-captain, Upton became the first player to win five NRLW premierships and two Dally M medals.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest players of the NRLW era, Upton continues to set the standard for excellence both on and off the field.
