Round 13 snapshot: Tigers end depleted Panthers' winning streak

The 13th round of the Telstra Premiership proved an unlucky one for the Panthers with their 12-game winning streak coming to an end.

Wests Tigers took advantage of a Penrith side depleted by State of Origin selections to cause the upset of the round.

St George Illawarra beat the Broncos and Melbourne were too strong for the Titans before the abbreviated round wrapped up on Sunday in Newcastle with the Eels putting the Knights to the sword.

The Dally M voting has gone behind closed doors after round 12 with the winner to be announced during the finals series. Panthers star Nathan Cleary is atop the leaderboard ahead of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, James Fisher-Harris and Tom Trbojevic.
