Younger brother of fellow Roosters forward Nat Butcher and star performer in the S.G. Ball and Jersey Flegg competitions in 2018, young forward Egan Butcher spent his last few pre-seasons with the Roosters impressing his coaches and peers.
Now with three NRL pre-seasons under his belt, Egan will look to improve his game under the eye of the Roosters coaching staff for the opportunity to play first grade football in 2021.
