Shalom Sauaso’s natural ability first caught the attention of Broncos legend Ali Brigginshaw while she was working at Sauaso’s school.

She signed with the Broncos development squad in 2024 before earning promotion to the Top 24 roster the following season.

Her outstanding debut season was recognised with both the Dally M NRLW Rookie of the Year award and the Broncos’ Rookie of the Year honour.
Sauaso has also excelled on the representative stage, earning selection for Queensland Under 19 State of Origin and the Australian Schoolgirls team before achieving another significant milestone when she represented Samoa at the 2025 Pacific Championships.
