NRL Community Awards

NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR 2023!

The NRL Community Awards presented by Westpac are a platform to recognise and celebrate the contribution of the individuals that make rugby league the greatest game of all. Since the first Awards in 2007, the NRL Community Awards have grown into Rugby League’s most prestigious community-focused awards ceremony. It engages the entire Rugby League family, as they connect the grassroots to the elite level. The Awards honour the individuals who work tirelessly in the community to make Rugby League Australia’s favourite sport.

NRL Volunteer Of The Year

Presented to an individual that has provided exceptional service to the game and made a measurable difference in their community.

NRL Community Rugby League Club Of The Year

Presented to a rugby league club that has fostered participation and enjoyment of the game within their club and wider community.

NRL Women In League Award

An outstanding advocate for the advancement of women in Rugby League.

NRL Young Person of the Year

A young person who has made a significant contribution to their community through rugby league.

Indigenous Community Award

Presented to someone who has acted as an exceptional advocate for the growth of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s participation in rugby league.

Teacher Of The Year Award

A teacher who has demonstrated exceptional support of Rugby League.

Ken Stephen Medal - Man of the Year

Recognises the efforts of an NRL player who has not only achieved on the field, but has committed time off the field to community projects.

Veronica White Medal - Woman of the Year

Recognises the incredible contributions that so many NRLW players are making to their local communities and beyond.
