Award Description

The Teacher of the Year will have demonstrated exceptional support of rugby league through the provision of opportunities for students to be involved in both practical rugby league activities within their school/district and engaging students by integrating NRL's educational programs in the classroom. 

 

Award criteria

  • Demonstrated use of rugby league-related materials and/or NRL educational programs in the classroom.
  • Demonstrated facilitation of rugby league activities within the school and/or region.
  • Participation in inter-school competitions.
  • Engages students outside the curriculum.
  • Encourage and model sportsmanship and promote safe play.

 

Important Information

  • The award criteria's focus is primarily on the nominee's contributions in 2018.
  • Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
  • Attachments are encouraged (i.e. images and supporting documentation), however this is only on the condition that all components of the nomination form are complete.
