Biography:

Karl Lawton made every post a winner in 2021 after transferring to the Sea Eagles after the commencement of the season.

After being released by the Warriors, Lawton worked hard on overcoming an offseason achilles injury before scoring a try in a memorable Club debut win for the Sea Eagles against Parramatta in round 11.

Although a specialist hooker, the hard working Lawton made the most of his move to the second-row in between coming off the interchange bench to play 16 games for Manly.

His versatility value will again be a strong asset for the Sea Eagles in 2022.
